Parental responsibilities are far and wide.  Parents often find themselves acting as entertainment guides, teachers, referees, cops, cooks, cab drivers, nurses, and so on.  With so many responsibilities and roles to attend to, it can be easy to lose touch with the other important factors that make the role of “parent” so vital.

Our printable parenting contract helps parents focus on what’s important – being the best parent possible!

Most of the time when we think of “contracts” and “parenting” together, we think of behavior contracts that are intended to improve child behavior.  Well, that wasn’t the intent with regards to the printable parenting contract we created!

What is the purpose of our parenting contract?

​

Well, instead of focusing on the behavior of a particular child or teen, this one focuses on the behavior of the parent (or parents).  It’s basically an agreement that the parent makes with their child (or children) acknowledging the ways in which the parent (or parents) will “behave” in that role.

​

Essentially, this parenting contract intends to help parents be better parents.  It contains a list of parental responsibilities and expectations that the parent agrees to abide by.
